G. Daskalopoulos: Harmonic maps between singular spaces and geometric rigidity

Abstract: I will discuss the theory of harmonic maps when the domain is a simplicial complex and the target an arbitrary metric space of non-positive curvature. Furthermore, I will discuss applications in rigidity of lattices in simple Lie groups of Archimedean and non-Archimedean type.
